Our NYPA-funded programs focus on the two most critical areas of today’s green economy:
1. Heat Pump Career Training
The era of inefficient fossil fuel heating is ending. As a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor, HHEC knows exactly what it takes to install and maintain the systems of the future. This track teaches you the engineering and installation of high-efficiency heat pumps, ensuring they operate at peak performance as designed.
2. Home Performance Career Training
A high-efficiency heater is useless if the house is leaking air like a sieve. This track focuses on the “whole house” philosophy. You will learn to diagnose and solve comfort issues by mastering air sealing, insulation upgrades, and ventilation. You’ll learn to see what others miss using the science of comfort.
